Unprofessional treatment. I ordered my lenses on January.
Called to the store many times, each time I was told the lenses were in their way and I just need to be patient.
After 3 weeks waiting I went to the store and discovered the order was cancelled because the lenses were discontinued (nobody made me aware).
Then I was offered new lenses but I had to try them, so they ordered the trial ones.
The trial arrived and I was in isolation due covid so I asked if they could post them to my home and they said they will.
1 week later nothing arrived in the post so I called and the lady on the phone told me they hadn't posted them yet, apologized and told me she will do it straight away.
4 days later and still no lenses.
I went to the store, claim refund and I asked for my prescription.
Surprise! The prescription date was expired... So or they falsified the date so I couldn't use my prescription in other optician or they "ordered" lenses using an expired prescription.
Awful customer care, awful service I'm really disappointed.
I will never go back nor recommend it to anyone.

Don't waste your time with this poor attempt at an opticians. I've waited 45 minutes today with 4 people coming after me being seen. This is after being told on Friday there were no appointments available by the store, which was corrected by the call centre on Saturday morning. So having arrived at my appointment time I'm directed to the waiting room, after 45 mins I go back to the desk....the reason for not being seen is that the computer says I haven't turned up, despite being booked in by one of the staff. I then lost all faith and asked for my prescription information in order to go elsewhere.. Amazingly enough it wasn't available....the latest info they have on me is from 3 years ago, despite my being there twice since. On my way home the manager calls me and says that having checked the cctv system he sees me coming in and being directed to the waiting room.....so he says "it is our fault" .....no? Really?....his last ditch attempt is to offer me 50% off any future purchase....pathetic! I'd sooner deal with people who are aware, organised and professional....even if it costs more money. I don't think My eye condition should be subject to a Dutch auction....I've given Boots opticians a one star rating only due to the fact you can't give a zero.

Plenty of appointments available if you book in advance. Staff thorough and friendly. Good selection of frames available to choose from and there is often an offer available.
