Where do I start? Nothing is too much trouble for this man. He is very professional, reliable, trustworthy, efficient and goes beyond what he is expected to do. He has an enthusiasm for his work which he obviously takes pride in, he will repair where possible instead of replacing and is competitively priced too. I really can't recommend this man high enough. Once he has worked for you, you won't employ anyone else!

Mike from Abbeymead was brilliant. He is a really nice guy who is very enthusiastic about his job and incredibly knowledgeable. It is the first time I have had complete confidence in anyone working on our heating system. I am so pleased to have found a true professional.

When my boiler broke I had a quick look on the web to find someone to fix it.
I chose Abbeymead because they were an accredited installer of Worcester boilers (which is what I have). I couldn't have made a better choice. What a nice, friendly guy. Managed to find out what the problem was straight away and fixed it. Such a relief!
Although he managed to fix it he did warn me that I might need a new fan in the future and as my boiler is old it would need replacing at some point.
He gave me lots of advice and I will definitely be getting back in touch when I
need to get my new boiler installed. I would highly recommend.

After calling out several plumbers for a relatively easy job, and having not one of them actually arrive, it was a real pleasure to have the gentleman from Abbeymead breeze in, smile on his face, filled with advise, and told myself (an absolute novice, to any of this kind of stuff) that the job would actually be easier than he first expected, so he charged me less. -i'm sure most would have seen it as an easy way to make a few extra bucks, but his honesty and integrity to his trade was above that..

Thanks again for doing such a great, quick, smooth job!

Amazing plumber who fixes the problem straight away and advised how to get the cheapest parts etc. Saved loads of money and he managed to diagnose the problem in seconds, which another engineer had completely failed to do. Will only get mike round now for plumbing work.

First used MIck on house purchase in 1997 and subsequent years for gas appliance installation and service. When central heating system provided by builder ceased to function reliably in 2008, Mick fitted a Worcester pressurised un-vented system which provided economic reliable service for 7 years. When PCB recently developed a fault which prevented the boiler firing up, Mick shuffled his busy schedule to fit us in (he continued to work until 7pm). No call out fee, no overtime premium - just price of the part plus service. Great value.

P.S. During this time I've used over 10 garages to service my cars but it never crossed my mind to change plumber.

After having several quotations for a new boiler to be fitted, I decided on Abbeymead heating. What an excellent service Mike Hayes gave, dedicated in giving top quality products at very reasonable prices. All work was carried out in a very professional manner by Mike, who is a very friendly and accommodating person. I would be very happy to recommend Abbeymead heating for any plumbing/boiler work, we will certainly be using him again.

My friend recommended me Abbeymead Heating for doing a professional job with a reasonable cost. I hired the company for a boiler replacement job. The job took 4 days, it involved dismantling the old boiler, maintaining/cleaning all the radiators, installing a new Worcester Bosch boiler in my attic (required to install the unit, to extend gas/water pipes, to add a flue and a drain pipe, to connect electric). The engineer Mike is very friendly, reliable with rich experience and clear mind. During the site survey, he patiently explained the details (tell you what is suitable, not try to push you for the high-end option), gave useful suggestions, provided flexibility for different solutions. During the work, he enjoyed his work and kept chasing the perfection. Everyday, he reported the progress and made sure everything was safe and tidy before step out the house. After the installation, he took photos for his achievement, enjoyed to show you the results, even made a pipe protecting floor board and covered the old flue hole for free. The system comes with 7 years warranty and I am using the company for annual maintenance with a low cost. Now I have a much more quite, compact, reliable, power effective heating system, a new space from the empty boiler and a warn house for the winter. I am very satisfied and appreciate with the result and I will highly recommend this company to my friends also.

Thinking of changing your gas boiler? Well look no further than this site.
I first contacted the uk major gas supplier and after a visit received a quote for £2900.00 to fit a new Worcester boiler. This included power flush and magnetic filter.
Another quote from a reputable company came in also at £2900.00 including flush and filter.
Luckily I spotted the Abbeymead Heating van outside a near neighbour and I paid them a visit to inquire after their experience. It was very positive so I phoned Michael Hayes at abbeymead and asked him to visit and quote for a similar boiler.
Guess what? He supplied an on the spot quote of £1800.00 for an identical boiler and all fitting charges.
I accepted his quotation and 2 weeks later the job was done in 2 days!
Very clean work and I am well satisfied with everything especially as he took a lot of time to explain all the features and important operational gas statistics'
He will also replace my expensive boiler care plan with an annual visit and service at a very reasonable cost

First Class
The engineer arrived at the appointed time presenting himself in a friendly & helpful manner. He diagnosed the problem with my Central Heating system within, minutes & explained the work which needed to be undertaken & how long this would take in any easy to understand language (plain English) & gave me a VERY competitive set price for the job.
He carried out the work in an efficient & professional way repairing the fault & going through the complete system to ensure everything was working correctly. He explained throughout the process what he was doing & why he was doing it again, in plain English.
He also informed me that my problem had stemed from the fact that whoever had originaly installed the system had NOT installed it correctly and it did not comply to the Stautary Building Regulations (as my flat is less than 10 years old did suprise me).
Without doubt Abbey Mead Heating Service offer a very competent & professional service and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who wanted the work carried out to a VERY HIGH STANDARD.
I give them a 100% satisfaction rating.

Abbeymead Heating Service provided my gas safety certificate and while visiting was also able to fix a few additional issues all at a very reasonable cost.

Overall an excellent professional and friendly service that I will definitely use again.
